Insolvency law: we help you find your way forward.

Are debts growing and creditors pressing while you are unsure what to do next? We help you find clarity. Whether you face personal insolvency, corporate insolvency or directors’ liability, we consider your obligations together and explain the next steps.

You do not need to navigate insolvency law alone. We guide you personally, organise your documents and coordinate assessment with the relevant lawyers and tax professionals. Together we explore whether a settlement, restructuring or insolvency procedure suits your actual circumstances.

Your circumstances determine the right route

Are you personally overindebted, self-employed or running a company? We start with your actual obligations. Which debts are yours, which belong to the company, and where could personal liability arise?

During insolvency advice, we organise creditors, income, assets and existing proceedings. You gain a clear starting point for the decisions ahead.

Before insolvency: explore the available options

Insolvency is not always the first step. We explore viable alternatives with you, including creditor agreements and appropriate business restructuring routes.

Whether a settlement, StaRUG or a recovery plan is suitable depends on your finances and the legal requirements. We coordinate the professional assessment. These efforts must not delay an existing duty to file for insolvency.

If proceedings are needed: decide with a clear plan

Personal insolvency or corporate insolvency requires a plan that extends beyond filing. We consider personal debts, business value and your future financial position together.

We coordinate preparation with the appropriate professionals and clarify the procedure, documents and responsibilities. For companies, an insolvency plan and self-administration are considered where suitable and legally available.

Personal liability: separate company and personal obligations

A company in difficulty does not automatically make you personally liable for every debt. However, personal guarantees, tax debts or directors’ liability can affect your own finances. We coordinate a separate assessment of each claim’s basis.

We coordinate legal assessment with the lawyers involved and plan the financial response with you. Business difficulties and personal debt relief are considered together.

EU insolvency: assess international options carefully

If personal debts remain, EU insolvency may merit assessment. We examine international options against your actual personal and financial circumstances. A change of address alone is not a viable solution.

COMI, jurisdiction and applicable law are among the decisive factors. With the relevant local professionals, we assess which debts may be covered and which exceptions apply. You receive an individual assessment rather than a blanket promise of discharge.

Your next step: a personal initial consultation

Book your free initial consultation. Tell us about your situation and current deadlines. A creditor list, recent claims and notices, and information about income and assets are helpful.

We discuss your starting point and the questions requiring professional assessment next. Legal advice and representation are provided by the appropriately qualified lawyers; we coordinate your personal guidance and financial preparation. Existing deadlines apply independently of the appointment.
